a. Turn on the device by pressing and holding the power button and the LED should indicate device is on

b. If you are unsure if device is on, you can ensure the device will turn on by plugging the device to a USB cable to a PC

Make sure res_config on device has "wifi_mode": 1

1. adb root

2. adb pull /data/misc/qmmf/ipc_webserver/res_config

3. change "wifi_mode" to 1 in res_config file

4. adb push res_config /data/misc/qmmf/ipc_webserver

5. adb reboot

WiFi key

1. Press WiFi key, a softAP will be created with below configuration and WiFi LED will turn green

SSID : QCS605_VRCAM

Password: qualcomm

2. To check ip address of device run below command

adb shell ifconfig softap0

a. The quick start guide in the “Downloads” section provides the instructions

b. Note that you will need to have an account to access the material

a. Prepare a regular USB for rework – short the D+ (green) and GND (black)

b. Connect the device to PC with this cable and device can enter 9008 mode

c. Replace with a normal USB cable and reconnect the device to PC

d. Device can now be reflashed using the QFIL mode
